I've been waiting for this moment for more than 10 years. 5 years ago, I wouldn't even have dreamed to write literature in English. Let alone horror speculative literature. apărut în Euphorion, nr.1/2019, ISSN 1222-3212             5 volume (din 7 preconizate), 8 serii de film. 24 de personaje din a căror perspectivă e povestită acțiunea. 7 familii nobile (unele integral eliminate). 335 de personaje ucise, 97 doar în volumul 3. Un film ce a devansat acțiunea cărții. Zeci de milioane de fani. Un heterocosm construit parțial de carte, parțial de film, cu părți lipsă, pe care publicul le completează cu propriile teorii, preluate de autor și de producătorii serialului și puse în poveste. E un fenomen ce depășește cartea ca obiect și serialul TV ca produs de consum. I’ ve studied literature since I was 15. It is the only thing I have wanted to study. I loved it and I still do. I started writing criticism as an undergrad student and got published. I still write it and I still love literary theory. I never took a creative writing class, for none of the two universities where I was a student offered them. I never considered taking such a class, for I gave up writing literature when I was around 18. Ten years later, I started again, not with poetry, as I had written in my adolescence, but with prose. I was awful. To this day, I feel embarrassed by my first texts. I never tried to publish. I knew critics, I was one, and I used to be vicious as a critic. But writing literature (even one as crappy as mine) made me feel thrilled. It still does. It is also  emotional hell. I found my perfect creative outlet. I have been writing fiction for 7 years now. I have a completed novella, which I cannot edit for the 10th time because only the thought...

De fapt, e vorba de un sătuc elvețian, care beneficiază de unicitatea unui relief spectaculos. Aici a călătorit Tolkien în 1911 și acest loc a inspirat imaginea regatului elfilor conduși de Elrond din Stăpânul inelelor . Cascada cea mai înaltă din Lauterbrunnen, Staubachfall, l-a inspirat și pe   Goethe în crearea Cântecului spiritului peste ape . De fapt, la baza cascadei, textul poemului, inscripționat pe o placă metalică, stă mărturie a sursei de inspirație. Spațiul văii, imaginea pereților stâncoși și a luminii cețoase, specifică acestui...
